//:: Me screaming about what I feel about everything and anything around me...

Here I go again mocking about what I want to say about what I felt before or what I have experienced before ... So this time! I wanna share with you my experiences with cars I've driven...

To start of with, I was born in 1982 and the first 4 wheel car I've driven is a go kart! At the age of 7! A go kart does'nt have a suspension system. So you'd imagine how crazy it is if you run over a speed hump. To be honest with you, you'll feel your spinal cord breaking down into pieces if you run over a dime with the karts. So really, that is one apauling rubbish ride!

I remember my brother-in-law use to have a “Minika” that very small tiny midget car that was often use in the 80's as a “PU or Peeyoo” which in modern terms is a taxi or a cab. I love'd that car it's very small and perfect for my atom sized body. :) I was a very tiny tiny kid back then. Because it was a very small car with a very small engine it's not what you'd call sporty. The suspension also feels a bit medieval and if your asking about luxury. I'd say it's like sitting inside an Egyptian room inside a collapse pyramid. Does'nt feel quite safe too. Drive it around 80kph and you'll feel it wants to give away and just break into pieces.

When I got to college I use to drive a 1972 Ford Lazer. It was a crazy car. No matter how I tried to put stuff to make it comfortable it's just not as comfortable as I want it to be. I got a lot worst! Then I thought of setting it up. Remove the back seats put loud speakers, 16 inch chrome wheels, wooden steering wheel and gear knobs. You know what!? It looks great! BUT AWEFULLY RUBBISH!!!! When I get inside after a day at school the wooden steering wheel was hot as hell! You can't drive it for cry out loud! The wheel is so hot you'd burn your hands! The low profile tires just adds up all the noise inside the car specially when you go through rough roads. The speakers adds tons of weight that ruins the fuel economy! Lesson here really is ... Leave your car's mechanical parts as it is if you want it to give you better ride comfort.

Isuzu Hilander, ahhhhhh you'd imagine this is a good car. Well it's true! But because I'm from Davao city and the Isuzu dealer here is “******** ******” , it just ruined everything. For one they're very expensive, not the car but the service charges. The work is very unsatisfying! You drive you car to the service station and when it gets out you'd expect it to be well. But it just the same. Your problem was fixed for a day and then tomorrow? It's back to the same problem again! But the car itself is really great. I could carry 8 adults comfortably and on our way traveling to nice places. Yes you can travel with it. It runs in diesel which is very economical, and the space inside is good, the ride height is perfect. I love'd that car. It was great to have that. Sadly we've had it for 7 years and had to sell it. Don't keep a car unless you think it will be a future classic.

The all new Honda Civic. Hmmm let's see I've only driven it for like 5 months now. I don't particularly like the ride on a normal city street. They made it too stiff to make it good on a track. So the ride on a normal drive on normal city road is a bit bumpy and disturbing. The new technology of the automatic gearbox is great. Double clutch auto gearbox is doing good with smooth changes from 2nd to 5th. From 1st to 2nd is yes smooth but not as smooth as from 2nd to 5th. The steering is one part where I really like. It's good a hydraulic steering system which actually feels a bit different compared to the old power steering technology like in the old model. The turn-ins are great partly also because of it's stiff suspension. I've tried driving it through the fast curves approaching Sta. Cruz and also to Digos at about 100kph. I know you I could still go for more, but the thing is If I do that sort of speed on the old civic it would feel a bit nervous. But with the new one it's really good probably around 140kph on those same fast curves and I would feel the same as the old model. The thing is they have made a step forward to making cars better to drive. Brakes are also good too.... Oh there's one more thing. The windows of the new model are broken. I don't know how they designed it but it's the same issue as to the 95` Mitsubishi Lancer. It tends to move about and derail when you wind it up.

Honestly, I could talk about this for months about the different cars that I've driven. But these 4 are probably the most significant for me. Where I really felt everything and saw big changes .... I know it's nothing for you and it's boring ... but I just wanted to share how I felt about my experiences in the past about the cars I've driven. I could be wrong about the things I wrote, but these are just my feelings about the cars. :)
